FAQS.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

'What is Personal Training (PT)?' Personal training involves one-on-one sessions with a certified trainer who creates a customised workout plan tailored to your fitness goals, abilities, and preferences. 'What services do you offer?' We offer a variety of services, including one-on-one personal training, group training sessions, nutritional guidance, online coaching, and specialised training for specific goals like weight loss, muscle building, or athletic performance. 'What qualifications do your trainers have?' Our trainers are certified through reputable organisations such as CIMPSA. They have extensive experience and ongoing education to stay current with fitness trends and techniques. 'How do I get started?' To get started, schedule a free consultation with one of our trainers. During this session, we’ll discuss your goals, assess your fitness level, and create a plan that works for you.

FOR BEGINNERS

'I’m new to working out. Can I still use a personal trainer?' Absolutely! Our trainers are experienced in working with beginners and will create a program that is safe, effective, and tailored to your fitness level. 'What should I expect during my first session?' Your first session will include a fitness assessment, discussion of your goals, and an introduction to basic exercises. Your trainer will explain proper form and technique to ensure you feel comfortable. 'How often should I train with a personal trainer?' This depends on your goals and availability. Typically, clients train 2-3 times per week. Your trainer will recommend a frequency that best supports your objectives.

TRAINING SESSIONS & PROGRAMS

'What types of training do you specialise in?' We specialise in a variety of training styles, including strength training, HIIT, functional training, weight loss programs, sports-specific training, and rehabilitation exercises. 'Can I train with a friend or in a group?' Yes, we offer semi-private and small group training sessions. Training with others can be motivating and cost-effective. 'How long are the training sessions?' Most sessions are 60 minutes long, but we also offer 30-minute express sessions for those with time constraints. 'Do you offer online or virtual training?' Yes, we provide online training sessions via video calls, as well as personalised workout plans that you can follow on your own.

PRICING & PACKAGES

'What are your rates for personal training?' Our rates vary depending on the trainer, session length, and package selected. We offer single sessions, as well as discounted packages for multiple sessions. 'Do you offer any discounts or promotions?' We offer various promotions throughout the year, as well as discounts for students, military personnel, and first responders. Check our website or contact us for current offers. 'What is your cancellation policy?' We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid being charged for the session. This allows us to offer the slot to another client. 'Do you offer payment plans?' Yes, we offer flexible payment plans for packages to help you manage your budget while staying committed to your fitness goals.

HEALTH & SAFETY

'What if I have a medical condition or injury?' Please consult your doctor before starting any new fitness program. Inform your trainer about any medical conditions or injuries so they can tailor your workout safely. 'How do you ensure the safety of your clients during workouts?' Our trainers emphasise proper form and technique, provide appropriate modifications, and monitor your progress closely to prevent injury. We also follow strict hygiene protocols to maintain a safe training environment. 'What should I do if I feel discomfort or pain during a session?' Stop immediately and inform your trainer. Pain is a signal from your body that something is wrong. Your trainer will adjust your workout accordingly.

NUTRITION & LIFESTYLE

'Do you provide nutritional advice?' Yes, we offer basic nutritional guidance to complement your training. For more detailed meal plans, we can refer you to a registered dietitian. 'Can personal training help with weight loss?' Absolutely! Our trainers can create a customised workout and nutrition plan designed to help you lose weight effectively and sustainably. 'How important is nutrition in achieving my fitness goals?' Nutrition plays a crucial role in achieving your goals. Your trainer will emphasise the importance of a balanced diet and may suggest dietary adjustments to support your training.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

'What should I bring to a training session?' Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle, towel, and any personal items you might need. Your trainer will provide any necessary equipment. 'Do you offer any specialised programs?' Yes, we offer specialised programs such as pre/post-natal training, senior fitness, and sports-specific conditioning. Contact us to learn more about these offerings. 'How will I track my progress?' Your trainer will monitor your progress through regular assessments and adjustments to your program. We also offer tools like fitness apps and progress tracking sheets to help you stay on track. 'What if I’m not seeing results?' Results can vary depending on several factors. If you’re not seeing progress, discuss it with your trainer. They can adjust your program, provide additional support, or reassess your goals.
